A very early scabbard for a "Texas Model" Colt Paterson which we've lifted from page ? of the essential book "Packing Iron." This is a bit heavier than the glove leather original, since you want the thing to last. Sewn muzzle. Available in three colors, with or without the hand painted "Lone Star." Completely hand-sewn with linen thread treated with a mix of beeswax, tar, and linseed oil. All construction techniques are totally correct for the period. This is as real as it gets.
This is correct for Texas civilian use for any year after 1837 and for Texas Ranger impressions depicting the period 1843-1850. Open Top Paterson Belt Scabbard: $80.00 |
